Grandma’s Famous Wine Cake
Passed to your plate by Jennifer Nelson
My Grandma would make her famous wine cake at every family function. It was everyone’s favorite dessert and there were never any leftovers. My mother would make it every year for my birthday since I don’t like frosting or icing and Grandma’s wine cake is only lightly dusted with powdered sugar. When I lived in London, I started making it for friends and work colleague and it became quite popular and requested often.
