  • 6cups cheerios
  • 6cups wheat chex
  • 6cups rice chex
  • 6cups corn chex
  • 1small box pretzels sticks
  • 1/2pounds salted peanuts
  • 1/2pounds redskin peanuts
  • 3sticks margarine
  • 1/2cup bacon fatyes, ½ cup of bacon grease, mmmm….bacon
  • 1/4cup peanut butter
  • 1/4cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1tablespoon liquid hot sauce
  • 1tablespoon salt
  • 1tablespoon onion salt
  1. Combine cereals and pretzels in a large roaster. Stir in nuts.
  2. Melt margarine and bacon fat and mix with peanut butter until blended.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients except nuts and toss with cereal until fully coated.
  4. Bake in the large roaster uncovered for 2 hours in oven at 250 degrees. Gently stir every half hour.
  5. Hint: There have been several attempts throughout the years to substitute with generic cereals, add ingredients (such as crackers of many types and sizes) or to try to make it low-fat or healthy for you. Let me save you the time and let you know that they have all failed miserably…except for eliminating the nuts all together, which I do, because I hate nuts. Stick with the name brands and tweak only the “sauce” ingredients as you see fit.
